Finding inspiration where ever I can
I find myself drawing inspiration (or more accurately mantras that I cheer myself on with) from some of my children's books and movies lately. I don't know if that's just because that's what I'm exposed to the most, or if these are just tried and true motivators. What do you think?
When swimming: Finding Nemo
The scene when Dory, Nemo and a bunch of other fish are caught in a fishing net and need to escape.
Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming!
When biking (especially uphill): The Little Engine that Could
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
When running: The Tortoise and the Hare
Slow and steady wins the race.

OOOOO, I love those! How fun and what great inspirations. The one that's been going through my head lately is from Bolt when Rhino always says, "AWESOME!"
:)
We haven't seen Bolt yet, but it's in our Netflix queue. Maybe I should bump it up. :-)
